Should You Take Your Dog To Lowe’s?

Okay, so we’ve established that the majority of Lowe’s locations permit leashed dogs inside the building—but SHOULD you bring your dog with you?

To increase your dog’s confidence, start with more training, and when you do venture into dog-friendly stores, go to quieter places like Tuesday Morning stores. Work up to home improvement stores like Lowe’s.

Dog-friendly stores are not appropriate for your dog if it exhibits any aggression toward people or other dogs.

Save your dog outing for another time when you can focus on your dog and both of you can enjoy the store if you have a lot of shopping to do or need to buy a lot of lumber and need both of your hands free.
