  • In my experience with many other brands of boots (some very similar to this one), if you can get a finger under strap of boot, itll fall off. Strap needs to be snug, above dewclaw, both to keep boot on and to keep snow out. My dog and I walk miles. If the boot is designed well enough to not turn up…more side down on his paw, and straps are snugged tight enough to keep most snow out (and are not elastic), the boot stays on; he can run full speed, leap through snowbanks, and play hard, even at the dogpark.
